Athlete Training

We work with athletes of all sports beginning at nine years of age. Our training programs don’t try to group everyone together in a one-size-fits-all. BSP performance coaches work hard to tailor workouts for each individual athlete to suit their sport, abilities, and personal goals. It works like this:

An initial evaluation is performed on an athletes very first day in the gym. Measurements of flexibility, strength, and speed will give our staff a lot of great information to help get an athlete on the road to success. These measurements include but are not limited to: vertical jump, broad jump, 20-yard sprint, and pro-agility (5-10-5). In some cases, our coaches will deem it necessary for an athlete to go through a sport-specific evaluation.

From this evaluation, BSP staff will develop a training program to develop and enhance the athlete’s athleticism, strength, power, speed, and resiliency. This program will progress as the athlete becomes more efficient in movement and skill.

After evaluation and training, it’s time to train. Our coaches work alongside each athlete every step of the way to ensure all movements and exercises are done safely and for maximum benefit.
